About Us
Media Mill was formed in 2000 by Jerry and Louise Ibbotson, both BBC radio journalists (Jerry at Radio One Newsbeat and Louise at 5Live). We’re based in York in northern England.
In 2001 we produced the audio on the original World Rally Championship game for the PS2, to rave reviews. Since then Media Mill has worked on more than 30 titles on every platform.
We won an IGN Award for Audio Excellence in 2009, for our work on Motorstorm Arctic Edge. We were nominated for a Develop award in 2010 and an IGDA award in 2005.
But we’re not just about games. We also record voice overs, mix audio for animation and video, and generally mess about with sound.
